Susan comes to CNEMT with more than 25 years of experience in the non-profit field. She served as the Program Coordinator at the Nashville Tree Foundation prior to joining Vanderbilt University Medical Center as Director of Development. She later joined the REALM Group, a consulting firm that works with Catholic nonprofit organizations. Susan’s focus at the REALM Group was organizational strategy, customer relations, donor services, and transitioning processes.
Susan then served as the Director of Development for the Joseph School, where she worked with the Executive Director and board to build a fundraising program. Most recently, Susan worked for the Patient Empowerment Network, an organization providing cancer education for patients, care partners, and providers. Susan has also provided consulting services for a variety of organizations, with a focus on strategic planning, board relations, and fundraising processes.
Susan holds an Executive Nonprofit Management certification from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Applied Science from Everest College. She has served as a board member for the Collective Mental Health Program and as a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the National Association of Nonprofit Organizations and Executives (NANOE), Tennessee Women Connect and Tennessee Women in Business.
