The Tennessee Alliance for Economic Mobility (TAEM) is a public-private partnership comprised of 32 partners that are implementing the largest benefits cliff mitigation pilot in the country, working collaboratively across Middle TN to support 900 families in moving beyond the benefits cliff. We seek to transform Tennessee’s social safety net and catalyze federal reform to support thriving families.

We operate with a collective impact approach that is led by a backbone team at Martha O’Bryan Center in collaboration with partners across the region. Between the backbone team and partners, there are 61 full-time staff and 14 part-time staff who are implementing the pilot.

Job Responsibilities

We are now seeking a TAEM Data Quality Coordinator & Benefits Cliff Learning Lead to join the TAEM team! The role will:

  • Be responsible for coordinating the TAEM Data Team’s efforts in ensuring the reliability of data within TAEM’s Databases by:
  • Coordinating efforts to ensure data integrity and resolve data quality issues with users
  • Working with the Data Team to analyze, identify, and monitor data quality issues
  • Providing training and technical assistance to partners related to data quality issues
  • Analyze information associated with families’ experience of the benefits cliff—including assessing eligibility for the benefits cliff mitigation pilot, analyzing income and calculating the benefits cliff snapshot for a given family, analyzing public benefits programs to maximally support families in moving beyond the cliffs, and overseeing the implementation of the Transitional Benefit.

Qualifications

Skills and Knowledge Required:  

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be a self-starter
  • Familiarity with working with income and public benefits
  • Experience working with tables and reports
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)

Travel and any other special conditions or requirements: County/regional travel required with mileage reimbursement
