Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Educator to join our team. As an Educator, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging educational programs for children. This position requires expertise in curriculum development, behavior management, and childhood development.
Job Type: Full-time/non-exempt
While chapel is offered and optional for children enrolled, our Preschool staff is not required to teach Christian curriculum.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
- Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Assess and monitor the progress of each child
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure the educational needs of each child are met
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and incidents
- Implement behavior management strategies when necessary
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- Proficiency in curriculum development and lesson planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Patience, creativity, and adaptability in working with children of different ages and abilities
