Job Summary
High Hopes Development Center, a mission-driven nonprofit organization serving children of all abilities through an inclusive preschool and pediatric therapy clinic, is seeking a visionary and compassionate Executive Director to lead us into our next chapter of growth and innovation.
For over 40 years, High Hopes has equipped children, youth, and their families with the tools to thrive through education, therapeutic services, and loving support. As Executive Director, you will refine and execute our strategic vision, lead a team of 80+ professionals, and serve as a passionate advocate for inclusive, high-quality care and education.

Job Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
- Provide inspiring leadership across both the early childhood education and pediatric therapy programs
- Drive organizational strategy, fundraising, and community engagement
- Ensure operational excellence and financial sustainability
- Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and high performance
- Partner with the Board, staff, families, and community stakeholders to advance our mission
Qualifications
Who You Are:
- A proven leader with 5–7 years of nonprofit or operational leadership experience
- Experienced in managing diverse teams and complex organizations
- Strategic yet hands-on, with strong financial acumen and a heart for children
- An exceptional communicator and relationship-builder
- Passionate about inclusion and dedicated to helping every child reach their fullest potential
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree strongly preferred
- Experience in education, healthcare, nonprofit management, or a related field
