Job Summary
Small organization seeks to hire a part-time bookkeeper to oversee and manage financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Position can be done remotely via access to Quickbooks. Position will report to part-time Executive Director.
Job Responsibilities
Duties to include:
- Recording Financial Transactions using Quickbooks
- Managing Accounts Receivable and Payable; including 1099 employee(s)
- Reconciliation of Accounts for monthly board meetings
- Generating Financial Reports for monthly board meetings
- Compliance with legal requirements; including but not limited to filing tax forms (990), solicitation permits, and annual reports
- Minor revision of existing Chart of Accounts
Qualifications
- Demonstrated Proficiency with Quickbooks
- Experience with Nonprofit Accounting/Bookkeeping
- Responsiveness using email
