Job Summary

Small organization seeks to hire a part-time bookkeeper to oversee and manage financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Position can be done remotely via access to Quickbooks. Position will report to part-time Executive Director.

Job Responsibilities

Duties to include:

  • Recording Financial Transactions using Quickbooks
  • Managing Accounts Receivable and Payable; including 1099 employee(s)
  • Reconciliation of Accounts for monthly board meetings
  • Generating Financial Reports for monthly board meetings
  • Compliance with legal requirements; including but not limited to filing tax forms (990), solicitation permits, and annual reports
  • Minor revision of existing Chart of Accounts

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated Proficiency with Quickbooks
  • Experience with Nonprofit Accounting/Bookkeeping
  • Responsiveness using email
