Effective Human Resource Practices: Owning Workplace Compliance and Setting the Tone for Fairness & Equity (In-Person)

Human resources is an important component of every nonprofit organization that directiy impacts the most important asset that that any organization has – its people.

The Effective Human Resource Practices workshop deals with the essential tasks that nonprofit organizations should perform to meet employee needs and remain compliant. The workshop will focus on several key aspects of human resources such as:

• Pre-hire: Best practices for the application, interview, candidate selection process
• New employee: Onboarding processes & paperwork, logistics, and baseline metrics
• People development: Best practices and opportunities for developing people.

(*CNM reserves the right to move in-person workshops to Zoom or an alternate location if public health conditions or other logistical considerations warrant.)

Note: This workshop can be used as an elective for all CNM Certificate programs requiring additional electives for completion.
