June 7, 2022 & June 8, 2022 - 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM (CST)
Facilitator: Dr. Bernard Turner
The fundraising environment is more competitive than ever. It is essential to know what is necessary to write grant proposals that lead to funding. This intensive, two-day workshop will take you step-by-step through the development of an actual proposal geared specifically toward your organization and written by you.
Attendees will submit a concept paper before the workshop to facilitate feedback during the workshop. Attendees will gain a greater understanding of the proposal components and end the workshop with a completed proposal to bring back to their organization. (Lunch is provided.)
(This is an intermediate grant writing experience. Nonprofit professionals with grant writing experience or who have attended CNM’s Basic Grant Writing, Advanced Grant Writing or Writing Federal Grants would be good candidates.)
In this two-day workshop, participants will
- Utilize feedback from fellow attendees to make their concept paper stronger
- Refine their proposal idea, needs statement, goals, objectives and sustainability plan
- Get advice and feedback from an experienced grant writing professional.
- Collaborate and network with peers and share grant writing insights.
(*CNM reserves the right to move in-person workshops to Zoom or an alternate location if public health conditions or other logistical considerations warrant.)
Note: This workshop can be used as an elective for all CNM Certificate programs requiring additional electives for completion.
*Workshop times are Central Standard Time.
