A New Name, Same Commitment: Introducing the Center for Nonprofit Excellence

We are excited to share an important update with our community: the Center for Nonprofit Management has officially changed its name to Center for Nonprofit Excellence of Middle Tennessee. 

This change reflects our ongoing commitment to advancing the work of nonprofits in the region by emphasizing excellence in everything we do. Our new name better captures our mission to inspire, support, and empower nonprofit organizations to achieve their highest potential and make lasting impacts in Middle Tennessee. 

Why the Change? 

Over the years, we’ve witnessed incredible growth within the nonprofit sector, and our role in this ecosystem has expanded. Our services, resources, and initiatives continue to evolve to meet the changing needs of nonprofits, leaders, and communities. With this in mind, we chose a name that reflects not only our deep dedication to the nonprofit sector but also our focus on excellence, leadership, and sustainability. 

 

What Does This Mean? 

• A Renewed Focus on Excellence: Our mission remains the same— to provide nonprofits with the tools, knowledge, and support needed to thrive. The name change highlights our goal to elevate the standards of nonprofit management, leadership, and community impact. 

• Ongoing Support and Services: While the name is changing, the services and programs that you know and rely on will continue without disruption. From leadership development to capacity-building workshops, we are here to help you succeed at every stage of your nonprofit’s journey. 

• Strengthening Community Impact: We remain dedicated to building stronger communities by empowering nonprofit organizations. Through collaborative efforts, educational programs, and expert guidance, we are committed to strengthening the social fabric of Middle Tennessee.

As the Center for Nonprofit Excellence of Middle Tennessee, we are excited to continue providing innovative, high-impact programs and services designed to strengthen nonprofit organizations in our region.
