Who We Are

At the Nashville Anti Human Trafficking Coalition (NAHT), we believe that all roads of justice and healing lead to JESUS. Our mission is to rescue, restore, and resource women and children out of the bondage of human trafficking and addiction. We are a faith-driven, survivor-informed team walking hand-in-hand with the broken, the weary, and the brave—offering radical hope and Christ-centered restoration.

We are looking for a Kingdom-minded creative—a strategic storyteller and dynamic communicator—to help us amplify the voice of the voiceless, engage our community, and draw supporters deeper into the fight for freedom.

Job Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Marketing Manager will be the heartbeat of our communications—strategizing, crafting, and executing powerful stories that glorify Jesus and showcase the life-change happening every day at NAHT. This role blends strategic marketing, brand stewardship, and visual storytelling to build awareness, cultivate donor relationships, and mobilize our community around the cause of freedom.

You’ll lead with both vision and execution—developing content calendars, managing campaigns, and creating a cohesive and consistent brand voice across all platforms. You’ll collaborate across departments and ensure every piece of communication reflects our core values: Humble. Simple. Hopeful.


Key Responsibilities

📈 Strategic Marketing & Content Development

  • Build and implement compelling, mission-driven marketing strategies that drive awareness and engagement.
  • Maintain and manage a strategic content calendar (social, web, email, and print).
  • Curate consistent messaging for donor engagement, including monthly donor content.
  • Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies for maximum Kingdom impact.

🔊 Brand Stewardship & Organizational Voice

  • Guard and grow NAHT’s unique brand voice—one rooted in hope, redemption, and authenticity.
  • Ensure visual and written consistency across all internal and external materials.
  • Develop and maintain NAHT’s brand guide and messaging framework.

✍️ Content Creation & Writing

  • Write clear, Christ-centered copy for email campaigns, social media, impact stories, print collateral, and website.
  • Create stories that honor survivor dignity and celebrate redemptive transformation.
  • Serve as lead editor for all public-facing materials.

📸 Visual Storytelling & Media Management

  • Manage a growing library of approved survivor stories, images, and video content.
  • Capture and organize visual media from events, programs, and outreach.
  • Provide basic graphic design for digital and print materials; coordinate with external designers as needed.

📌 Project & Budget Management

  • Oversee marketing projects from concept to completion, meeting deadlines and staying on budget.
  • Manage marketing budget and expenses with integrity and stewardship.
  • Ensure timely delivery of donor content, especially for NAHT’s mass monthly donor communications.

🤝 Collaboration & Kingdom Alignment

  • Partner with the Director of Development to align messaging with donor cultivation strategies.
  • Collaborate across departments (Rescue, Restore, Resource, Recognize) to spotlight program impact and member stories.
  • Participate in key NAHT events, trainings, and spiritual development gatherings.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of marketing experience, ideally in the nonprofit or faith-based space.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, branding, storytelling, and campaign development.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a heart for redemptive storytelling.
  • Basic graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite or Canva preferred).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in social media scheduling tools, email marketing platforms, and basic analytics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Alignment with NAHT’s mission, values, and Statement of Belief.
  • Willingness to grow spiritually alongside the team and participate in prayer and devotional rhythms.

Bonus Points For:

  • Fundraising or donor engagement experience
  • Familiarity with WordPress and email platforms like Mailchimp or Constant Contact
  • Photography and/or videography skills
  • Experience with CRMs or donor management software (e.g., Kindful, Salesforce)
