Job Summary
The Digital Communications Specialist is responsible for the development and execution of online marketing and communications strategies that support TSCPA’s brand, enhance awareness of the organization and the profession and foster growth of online engagement through TSCPA’s social media presence.
The Specialist will build and maintain a thorough awareness and understanding of current issues impacting the profession and TSCPA and will collaborate across departmental areas to understand and achieve communications objectives.
This position is responsible for regular analysis and monthly reporting of online engagement and trends and provides data-based recommendations for continuous growth.
The Specialist builds and maintains an in-depth understanding of TSCPA’s brand standards and ensures that all online communications effectively meet and support them.
Job Responsibilities
- Build an understanding of CPA profession-specific issues and trends and create online communications strategies that align with them as well as TSCPA’s overall marketing and communications objectives.
- Create, curate, and schedule social media content across multiple platforms including text, graphics, and video/reels.
- Monitor general social media trends and maintain a working knowledge of platform-specific best practices.
- Understand TSCPA style and brand guidelines and ensure that all online content adheres to them.
- Monitor social media analytics and adjust content strategy as needed to maximize reach and engagement.
- Monitor social media channels, including follower comments and re-posts, and provide appropriate responses in a timely manner.
- Execute social media paid advertising campaigns, report on performance, and make recommendations to maximize effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing or content creation.
- Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication for business use.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
