Job Summary
This is a grant-funded, part-time position with the Nashville Public Library Foundation and involves teaching basic digital literacy skills classes for older adults.
Job Responsibilities
Duties include:
- Teach adult basic computer skills classes both at library locations and at partner sites.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Some college or professional training is required.
- Be able to travel to various locations throughout the city.
- Valid Tennessee driver’s license
- Experience using computers, the Internet, and email.
- Experience with mobile devices and downloading apps.
- Be familiar with Internet Safety, Privacy, and Security.
- Knowledge of Nashville Public Library digital products is a plus
- Ability to teach computer skills to adults of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
- Knowledge of current technologies with a willingness to learn
- Patience a must
