Job Summary
Love and encourage Men of Valor staff, volunteers, and participants in such a way that reflects and honors Christ. The SNAP E&T Coordinator will report to the Director of Policy & Government Affairs. the SNAP E&T Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to successfully oversee the financial integrity, procedural standards, accounting processes, and compliance needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for SNAP E&T program and fiscal compliance based on the grant contract and Scope of Work; establish and maintain systems and processes to enhance compliance as needed.
- Responsible for SNAP E&T case management, including all related documentation and case notes data entry required by state portals (e.g., JOBS4TN, Virtual One Stop, etc.).
- Determine SNAP E&T eligibility for all participants; troubleshoot eligibility and reverse referral issues.
- Work with MOV case management tools and data systems to access participant information and update case notes to the state and partner agencies.
- Communicate with SNAP E&T participants and MOV staff as needed to gather information for participant case management.
- Ensure timely filing of ongoing grant reports, including the monthly third-party partner (TPP) report, monthly reimbursement invoices, and any other ongoing reports.
- Oversee annual grant contract renewal from start to finish; prepare annual grant budget and Scope of Work; respond to questions from grant agency and facilitate contract approval.
- Responsible for responding to monitoring reviews and audit inquiries.
- Attend monthly United Way meetings as our SNAP E&T partner agency.
- Attend monthly full staff meetings.
- Other duties as needed or assigned.

- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency with standard office equipment, Google Drive, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and other related applications. Use of these tools will be required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2-3 years of documented experience with the SNAP E&T grant program.
- A valid driver’s license and current personal automobile insurance.
- Minimum travel required to attend events, training, and meetings.
