Job Summary

As the Executive Director of the Tennessee Craft Brewers Guild, you will promote craft brewing and advocate for craft brewers across the state. This flexible role involves managing the Guild’s operations, communications, and advocacy efforts. This position offers flexible hours, a remote position, based out of your home office in Tennessee. Travel and weekends as needed.  

Job Responsibilities

Advocacy:

  • Serve as the spokesperson for the Tennessee craft beer industry, representing brewers at the state Capitol and nationally.
  • Build and maintain relationships with brewery owners, industry leaders, and legislators.
  • Create awareness campaigns and initiatives to support the Guild’s mission.

Communications and Marketing:

  • Develop and implement communications strategies.
  • Create and manage content for the Guild’s social media channels.
  • Share breweries’ stories to enhance visibility and consumer engagement.
  • Develop promotional campaigns to support Guild activities and initiatives.

Leadership and Strategy:

  • Develop and enhance the Guild’s infrastructure, branding, messaging, and programming.
  • Foster growth through education, partnerships, sponsorships, and membership resources.
  • Plan and execute member meetings and events.

Administration and Finance:

  • Maintain the Guild’s office operations, including tax returns, accounting, insurance, and legal needs.
  • Oversee financial reports, budget management, and revenue goals.

Membership and Fundraising:

  • Maintain and grow membership lists and benefits.
  • Develop and execute fundraising efforts and outreach campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Passion for the craft brewing industry.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and advocacy abilities.
  • Experience in event planning and management.
  • Financial management and budgeting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
