Pet Community Center
Digital Marketing Manager
Pet Community Center
Job Summary
As Nashville’s only nonprofit veterinary clinic, Pet Community Center (PCC) ensures that financial hardship does not prevent dogs and cats from receiving the high-quality veterinary care and services they deserve. We strive to break down the barriers families may face in caring for their beloved pets by focusing on three core areas in animal welfare: protecting the health of pets, preventing pet overpopulation, and providing for pets in need.
PCC’s digital marketing manager will create meaningful digital experiences that drive donor, client, and community engagement through social media, email marketing, online platforms, and special events. Using both creative and technical skills, this role will use compelling storytelling and digital best practices to grow PCC’s brand influence, deepen donor relationships, and broaden the community’s awareness of our organization across various online platforms.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with developing integrated marketing campaigns that support the growth of PCC’s donor and client bases.
- Manage all aspects of campaign planning and execution, including building campaigns in PCC’s CRM, managing lists, and reporting on campaign performance.
- Plan and manage PCC’s social media presence, including content development (i.e., videos, infographics, pictures, and graphics), follower engagement, and fundraising initiatives.
- Lead digital content creation, design, and asset management, including landing pages, graphics, and website updates.
- Maintain a 3-month content calendar and distribution strategy.
- Create and design monthly email newsletters to key audiences via the CRM platform.
- Co-lead event strategy with development manager, focusing on branding, marketing, digital components, logistics, day-of execution, and post-event communications
- Design and execute marketing materials, press releases, and informational kits for events and meetings.
- Generate reports to share with the leadership team and board.
- Collaborate with teams to brainstorm growth strategies.
Qualifications
- B.A./B.S. in marketing, design or communications or at least two years of undergraduate educational coursework.
- Proven track record in digital marketing (including content creation for messaging and promotion).
- Experience using marketing platforms such as CRMs, website builders, and other content management systems.
- Skill in using graphic design platforms such as Adobe InDesign and Canva.
- Knowledge of technical language with some familiarity with HTML a plus.
- Skill in tracking key performance indicators and making data-driven recommendations.
- Skill in managing a website, designing and implementing email fundraising campaigns, and using social media platforms.
- Team player within a growth-oriented learning organization.
