Job Summary
TIRRC is seeking an enthusiastic Adult Education and Membership Coordinator to coordinate community education classes and workshops and assist with membership engagement in order to connect participants with campaigns and engagement opportunities that build power for immigrants and refugees and help achieve TIRRC’s mission and vision.

Job Responsibilities
Workshops and Classes:
- Oversee English as a Gateway and Naturalization classes, as well as education workshops;
- Oversee class logistics, including securing locations, participant recruitment, and registration, and tracking participant information, engagement, and progress;
- Recruit and supervise classroom instructors and volunteers;
- Oversee technology used in classrooms and technology loan programs;
- Provide technical and mentorship support to classroom instructors, including availability to substitute teach as needed;
- Work in partnership with classroom instructors in the implementation of the program curriculum and daily lesson planning;
- Connect students with opportunities to continue learning and engage with the broader community;
- Recruit dues-paying members through interactions;
- Represent TIRRC in national convenings and collaborations with other adult education sites and assist in fundraising and grant reporting.
Membership Engagement:
- Coordinate the administration of our individual membership program through online recruitment forms, data maintenance, and ID printing processes;
- Follow up with class participants to connect them to campaigns and leadership development opportunities;
- Coordinate intro to organizing and engagement opportunities for class alumni;
- Assist in tracking the leadership trajectory of members through uploading organizing activity lists into the organizational database (CRM);
- Oversee membership recruitment and renewal at the annual Membership Convention;
- Oversee organizational membership applications and renewals;
- Involve staff across teams in membership recruitment to meet individual membership goals;
- Provide support for programs for members that take place in TIRRC’s building and the grounds, including but not limited to open houses, soccer programming, and community gardens.

Qualifications
- Belief in TIRRC’s mission and experience with social justice;
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with diverse communities;
- Experience with project management and overseeing multiple projects preferred;
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
- Proficiency with Google Suite or other office productivity tools, with aptitude to learn new software;
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some nights and weekends;
- Fluency in English is required and fluency or working proficiency in another language spoken by TIRRC’s constituencies is preferred;
- Must have reliable transportation.

Benefits
Salary Range: $46,000-$51,000
Benefits: Full-time TIRRC employees are eligible to receive medical, dental, and vision insurance with 100% of the medical employee premium covered by TIRRC, participate in a 401K retirement plan, and receive 24/7 access to an Employee Assistance Program. In addition, TIRRC provides paid leave including up to 15 vacation days, 13 paid holidays, and 3 weeks of paid sick leave in an employee’s first year and 6 weeks of paid parental leave.
