Job Summary

Provides support for educational programs that train pediatric health care providers in managing behavioral health concerns for children and youth.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development of promotional and training materials
  • Maintain and coordinate printing and compilation of materials for various training programs (handouts, folders, etc.)
  • Assist with organizing and scheduling training events which may include:  recruitment of attendees, setting up physical training site, hotel arrangements, arranging for food, coordinating online registration, organizing training materials and on-site sign-in sheets, audio-visual set-up, and other items to help training run smoothly.
  • Monitor registration for training events
  • Organize, travel to and from trainings, and attend trainings to assist the facilitator.
  • Assist with coordinating learning collaborative(s) by scheduling, and recruiting case presentations and speakers
  • Assist with the completion of applications to obtain various types of accreditations
  • Assist with pre and post-training CME and MOC requirements
  • Assist with ECHO database requirements
  • Attend meetings and conference calls as needed and maintain notes.
  • Assist with the development of grant-related newsletter articles for print and e-news publications.
  • Participate in awareness activities such as exhibiting at professional conferences and community meetings/trainings regarding behavioral health.
  • Become knowledgeable of and generate reports from membership databases.

Qualifications

  • The successful candidate may have education and experience in adult education, working with pediatric practices, and will have a behavioral health background. Bachelor’s degree preferred.  Must be self-motivated.  Excellent organizational skills and strong written and presentation skills will be mandatory. 
  • Ability to work remotely and have the flexibility to travel to Tennessee and work weekends when needed.
  • Knowledge of Windows 10 or above, including Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with data, proficient typing/data entry skills, ability to work independently and handle confidential information
  • Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated.
  • Desire to be part of a team.
