Job Summary
The Project Coordinator will primarily support one multi-year large project, in addition to a variety of smaller projects. In collaboration with a project manager and task leads, the Project Coordinator will coordinate meetings and events, monitor and provide guidance related to partner activities, and serve as the liaison for external stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
The Project Coordinator will:
- Work within a dynamic, multidisciplinary, and fast-paced organization, demonstrating the ability to pivot swiftly with new information or changing priorities.
- Support day-to-day project management, operation of activities, and all project logistics.
- Support the development and maintenance of a database of potential collaborators and stakeholders, using the organizational CRM database, Salesforce.
- Coordinate logistics for all meetings, including scheduling and confirming meeting dates/times, managing the virtual meeting platform, drafting and sending messages and reminders, developing meeting materials, and recording and maintaining meeting notes and next steps.
- Serve as the main point of contact for a group of external stakeholders, including youth-supporting professionals and young people.
- Support project managers to update and maintain projects, tasks, assignments, and timelines, using the organizational work-management platform, Asana.
- Support project managers to evaluate activities and develop project reports.
- Receive, triage, and respond to training and technical assistance requests.
- Support literature reviews on diverse health topics.
- Support conceptualizing and writing reports, manuscripts, and proposals.
- Represent Healthy Teen Network at conferences and other events to support dissemination efforts and organization visibility; collaborate to develop and facilitate presentations and exhibits.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the organization’s annual conference and department strategy.
- Contribute to ensuring department and project goals are met and activities are completed according to work plans and guidelines.
Qualifications
Education, Experience, Training, & Special Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college, or equivalent combination of training and experience. Focus on public health, education, social sciences, or related fields preferred.
- Proven success coordinating projects and/or events.
- High comfort level in working within a self-directed culture, navigating ambiguity, and working with tight timelines.
- Attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple different projects at once.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work well independently and in teams virtually.
- Familiarity with collaboration software and platforms (e.g., Miro).
- Passion for learning and understanding the needs of diverse populations.
- Knowledge of Human-Centered Design approaches is a plus.
- Experience working in sexual and reproductive health or reproductive justice field is a plus.
- Experience working in trauma-informed, inclusive, and affirming care and programming, is a plus.

This position is considered an exempt employee. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience, ranging from $36,800-41,600 (which is 80% of a full-time salary of $46,000 to $52,000).
